Grapefruits
You may not know it but these guys are packed with loads full of good stuff.
-They contain pectin, which is a fiber that helps lower blood cholesterol
-Both red and pink grapefruits contain lycopene, an antioxidant which helps lower the risk of prostrate cancer
-Grapefruit is extremely rich in vitamin C (for bones, teeth, and collagen) and potassium (helps maintain healthy blood pressure levels)
-Lastly, it can help prevent Arthritis and works as an antiseptic because of the salicylic acid
So eat one of these beauties for breakfast, lunch, or even at dinner. Here are a few simple ways to include them in daily meals...
At breakfast:
-Cut one in half (mid-way between the stem end and the dot at the opposite side) and eat as is, or if you want something sweeter, sprinkle brown sugar on top. For a variation of this, broil it in the oven for a few minutes
At lunch:
-Slice one up and throw it in a salad, it adds a citrus-y punch and tastes great with a simple E.V.O.O and champagne vinegar.

At dinner:
-Same idea as lunch, but add some protein with chicken or salmon
